About Cypress creek church

hands of family photoCypress Creek Church is people.

We are people from diverse backgrounds, preferences and experiences. We are people who experience great days . . . and rough days. We are people who love our families, but live in the real world where conflict and challenges face every family. We are people who work hard with our hands and mind to provide the necessary resources for life. We are people that have much to offer others, but remain teachable for we humbly realize that we know very little. We are people who enjoy other people.

We are people who are connected to each other through Jesus Christ. Jesus prayed, “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one.” Jesus is praying for unity. CCC values unity as we live the following vision: Building a Community, Changing a City, Reaching a Country and World.

God is creating in our midst a spiritual community. This community is one in which each person is loved, nurtured and protected. Everyone has distinct gifts, yet differences bring people together. Anyone can be included, yet each person is irreplaceable. Unconditional love is present, but, as well, there is uncompromising accountability.
